@mattcollier -- I'm happy for someone else to do those other changes if they have the bandwidth. If not, we can release this and then later do another rev where we release a new version 1.0 under @digitalbazaar with the crypto-ld fixes, etc. We shouldn't bother moving the lib until those crypto-ld@4 fixes are in.

I don't know how urgent this patch is, and if it is a priority to get it released in advance of 1.0.0.
