I purchased MaxTo 1 month ago. I am having the same issue.... "Maxto is already running, you should find it in the notification area." It's not in the notification area. And no amount of uninstalling/reinstalling or computer restarting solves the issue.
I have tried contacting support multiple times over the past month with NO RESPONSE FROM THEM.....I have asked for a refund and still no response from them. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SOFTWARE AS THE SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THIS PRODUCT....NOT EVEN THE FREE 30 DAY TRIAL. IT JUST CLOGS UP YOUR PC WITH FILES YOU CAN'T REMOVE.
I have a new PC running Win11 Pro (10.0.22621) and am not seeing MaxTo (v2.2.1) after installation. Initially received an error when I ran the .exe so I used .msi and although that seemed to have installed successfully as I did not receive errors this time. The icon is not accessible in the system tray. I purchased it last month when running Win10 and no issues. Please look into. Thanks!
