Dead people were always selected and showing an indication that it was look like a smart ID to me. Agree that having a non clickable button is not intuitive. I will change it so one can switch it off.
Since a few days you have to hit the Filter button to activate the filter settings. Mainly because there is a text search and searching the database for every character that was typed did not seem like a good idea. But I may just add a delay of a few seconds to the text search field to fix this.
The reason I didn't think to click the filter button is because on the "Child deaths" page the Dead and Injured buttons update the list automatically, it is also possible to deselect the button for deaths. I assumed the buttons on the counterparty in crashes would've behaved the same way.
Maybe it might ameliorate the user experience when the buttons on these two pages behave in a similar way? A possible idea: the buttons can have an immediate effect, with only text input requiring the press of the filter button?
Agree, I'll try something like that.
Fixed in latest version
When pushing the "injury" or "child" buttons in the counterpary in crashes section, nothing happens. It is also not possible to deselect "Injury:dead".
