Probably a good idea.

Our issues are fairly simple for now, but if we're going to be writing geometries that we create we should look into it.

I'll have a look in the dep-grid repo.

I was just thinking it might clean up our use of the search_across_180 function. Will be looking into this

There's a working version of this now on the develop branch (develop branch is still pretty rough, but I have plans)
