Downloading an APK file, which stands for Android Package Kit, allows users to install applications on Android devices outside of the official Google Play Store. This process can be particularly useful for accessing apps that are not available in your region, beta versions of applications, or apps that have been removed from the Play Store. However, it is crucial to download APK files from reputable sources to avoid security risks such as malware or viruses. Always ensure that the source is trustworthy and consider using antivirus software to scan the APK file before installation Shadow Fight 2 Vs Shadow Fight Special Edition. Enabling the option to install apps from unknown sources in your device settings is necessary, but remember to disable it afterward to maintain the security of your device.

Definitely (though to my knowledge, "virus" is the wrong term here and "malware" would be a much better fit). Though I'm not sure if you honestly mean it – due to the link you inserted into your comment making it look like an ad for … err, how trustworthy is that site?
As for security, let me disclose my intent: What about security? describes the measures taken at the IzzyOnDroid repository, which I was thinking to add the app to, and which the APK would be needed for.
Hi @IzzySoft; I'm not sure if we will ever have the resources to upload them here or to make releasing updated APKs on GitHub part of our CI/CD pipeline. That said, I've submitted our latest version to ApkMirror. Since the APK hasn't been reviewed yet at the time of writing, I'll also send it here: CarikomLauncherv0.2.apk.zip
Thanks @8bitPit! But it makes only sense to add it to the IzzyOnDroid repo if it can be kept updated there. Mich makes it necessary that the updater can fetch an APK – ideally from releases here, if that's not possible from inside the repo or, last resort, a fixed URL at a server providing the LAST-MODIFIED header (to check if a newer version is available at that URL).
I see, thanks for explaining. I'll update you if we begin to push releases on GitHub as well.
Thanks! A "ping" here should do, as I'm subscribed to the issue (obviously, as I've opened it :see_no_evil:).

Would you consider making the APK file available here, e.g. attached to the releases – for those without PlayStore access? Thanks in advance!
