App not starting on Android 4.1.x devices #197

The app is not starting on some Android 4.1.x devices. It is working in the Android 4.1 VM of Android Studio. I'm currently thinking about buying a used device which was reported to cause problems. Other ideas?

What kind of device is it? One of the advantages of developing for iOS... not such a broad range of different devices.. .

Test device was delivered but usb port not working. Ordered a new device.
