Use last visited regions in region selector if no preferred regions are set #1657

Suggestion: If no preferred regions are set in the user form, show the 10 most recently clicked/viewed regions sorted in descending order. This would save a few clicks.

Actually, the current behaviour is that the 10 most recently updated regions are shown, not the first 10 regions the user has ever clicked.

Do you still think we need to track the user interactions to keep track of the 10 most recently clicked regions, or does the list of 10 preferred regions already suffice?

Your assumption of this region selection is not correct. The 10 displayed regions are selected from 2 criteria:

  1. You can set your preferred regions in your user account via a shift click. If you select them they will always be displayed.
  2. If you have less then 10 preferred regions selected, the last updated regions will be displayed.
