Short-Term Decks #3

Sometimes we need to learn things for the short term, like a driving theory test (or my spectroscopy exam next Friday) and for that long-term spaced repetition is no-loger so well suited. We need something which quizzes you every day on all the cards and more often for the important ones. I also think we should always have the option to continue reviewing even if the daily allocation is done. I know quizlet does this when you set a learning deadline.

I would love to be able to repeatedly review flashcards daily, but still have the benefits of such an algorithm.

Thanks for the amazing tool you have made so far 💚💚

+1 to this. For example, roamsr had a #daily tag to make cards show up everyday. It was useful for a daily review of agendas, quotes etc.

Also, this tool is fantastic! Many thanks mate.

Update: You should now be able to continue in cram mode after you finish reviewing cards in a deck. See instructions here: https://github.com/digitalmaster/roam-memo#cram-mode

Will keep this issue open because I also want to add @prampey's #daily tag idea.

Will update here once that's live. In the meantime, give cramming a spin 🙏🏽

Hi @digitalmaster, thanks for cram mode. +1 for the daily suggestion... well, in my case it's more a yearning for a "Regular Mode", with items resurfacing with straightforward, perhaps definable, regularity. I realise that I might not be the target audience for this extension. It's just that everything else about it is perfect for that use case. Currently I use Things to resurface items that way but I would like to escape.
