I have essentially no idea how mp3, flacc, etc. work. An intro post with some discussion of the trade-offs would be fun and useful.

- Explain PCM

- Lossy: MP3, AAC, OGG
- Lossless: ALAC, FLAC
- Uncompressed: AIFF, WAV
- Maybe add a special mention to the newcomer MQA
