Supporting entity fields from the same node as well as separate nodes (for use in crowdsourcing/simplifying transcription)

Expose an editable entity to users that have completed a captcha and allow them to transcribe or correct transcribed content. This would then go through an editorial workflow. First step is research to see if this is through configuration. Look up Drupal module for editable field...
