Cannot update settings.json #261

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I am using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx and deb 
http://ppa.launchpad.net/transmissionbt/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
2. I change something in Remote setting and click save
3. setting is not updated in settings.json

What version of the products are you using?
OS: Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 
Transmission: 1.93 (build XXXX)
Remote: 3.20 (rev 0)

So this is a T "bug" (in fact a feature). Maybe try open a ticket in 
Transmission.
