Memorise left panel size (+minor translation improvements)

Hi transmission remote team,

I've been using the software for a while now and i really enjoy it just
like it its. One modest request though:

Is it posible to implement memorisation of the left tab panel size ? When a
translation is applied, text may exceed its english size. To see all text
in longer translations, this panel currently has to be adjusted every time
TR is launched. Not a big deal though !

Still about the left panel but more specifically to the french translation,
the translation is way longer than need. P2P softs never say "en cours de
téléchargement" or "en cours de verification" but only "téléchargement" or
"vérification" which are shorter and more natural.

All my sincere congrats for this great project !

If there are some wrong translation strings, pls grab the fr-FR.po file, and 
update the  
strings, and attach to #29 issue.
