Burmese data in Peiros1998 #85

I just checked the Peiros (1998) word lists against the ones that are offered by Tower of Babel online, and it is obvious that we are not talking about the same data (at least at the same stage) here:

bur.xlsx

There are similar varieties, but the selection in Peiros (1998) has less and is Lolo-Burmese. There is much more data on almost 100 ST languages online.

It seems like a generally good strategy, given that these data are online, to contact either George Starostin or Peiros himself, to ask, how to best quote the data. Whether it is worth to try and really digitize the original Peiros (1998) is another question. Maybe rather not, as this other online data was last modified in 2005, so it is likely that the data online supersedes the publication.

closing this: it turns out, the Burmese data we have in the XLSX file is NOT the one in the book. So we'd have to digitize the data in the book or ask Peiros personally to provide us with the 1998 version IF he still has it.
