The Shangshu article is probably more interesting. It argues for a division of a text into two parts on formal grounds and then goes on to discuss potential ideological differences. I suppose you could use that as an example of rhyming as a diagnostic criterion in textual analysis and perhaps, functionally, as a stylistic or rhetorical means of textual composition.
Text should contain rhymes, but we need to get it first.
