Yes, the files are exactly duplicated - just a mistake on my part in pushing to GitHub from the command line.
I have no new files for you to import, bc the files that are on the repository are just digital versions of the SIL (etc) data sources and have not been phonemicized or reformatted at all (in most cases). however, there's been some discussion about adding the SIL data sources for Ecuadorian Secoya and Kotiria/Wanano to the data set. I have complete lexica for those languages, so if we decide to add, should I just reformat the lexica and send them to you, or should they go into the 740-item spreadsheet first?

Amalia, could you please clarify what are all the files you uploaded recently? Are they exactly duplicated in the folder you made and in the project repository? If yes, I think we should only keep the ones in the folder, so we can find easily the conventions and workflow files. Also, please let me and Seb know when something is ready for exportation - matching with the 740 file (I presume that not all of these are ready to be treated yet, is that correct?)

I don't think there is need for them to be entered into the 740 spreadsheet first. the only thing that needs to be done is to add a column called TUE and put the exact same unified translation from the 740 wordlist, so they are linked with the rest of the same meaning.
Perfect. How about items that are not on the 740-item list? Can I just give them a one-word English gloss?

exactly, or even longer if necessary. the idea is to accurately describe the original translation with an eye to make it uniform across languages. does that make sense?
It was the first time for longer that I looked at the repo, and I'd suggest to really move all files in the main folder to a subfolder, which you may call "ODS" "XLSX", or spreadsheet. Otherwise, it's really hard to see what's going on.
just so I don't do anything wrong, @LinguList can you erase all the stray files from the central folder. They are all duplicated in the digitized files folder that Amalia created.
done
thanks!
