It might be usefull for collections to only display the latest published entry, since that could be the design. For example, the frontpage should only display one promotions and one newsitem at the moment. It doesn't make sense multiple entries. That could happen when the editor makes a mistake, and has multiple entries published. Remember this is only a issue for the frontpage collection at the moment.
