5 years ago So, the issue was gamepedia had disabled text search when doing their upgrade. Not sure why they did that... But I found a work around.
v4.10.0 should allow you to search again.

Looks liek a lot of gamepedia wikis updated to media wiki version 1.31 https://help.gamepedia.com/MediaWiki_1.31_upgrade, so right now, text search is broken.
