REPL having trouble parsing long input string

A REPL initiated with futhark-comint-load-file hangs when given input exceeding 4100 characters e.g.

works fine, but adding a single 0 makes it hang. Similarly, adding 0,0 at the end of the array

hangs the REPL and adding a 0.0 instead makes it go

This doesn't seem to happen on a terminal REPL by futhark repl

Very strange. I wonder how this can possibly occur. Maybe comint inserts linebreaks in unfortunate locations?

I find it very likely that comint simply truncates lines after 4096 character. I don't know if there is much we can do about that.
