Yesterday I briefed @albaplaza (graphic designer) about the projects, both thepublicoffice and dilettant and about the possibility the she would design both identities.

So @albaplaza , we need to set the base for your work, perhaps describe what you will/can do in thepublicoffice and we dicuss all of us here and then maybe we can take budget by email. How does it sound?

A complete visual identity includes:

• Logotype (symbol & naming)
• Color spectrum
• Fonts
• Text layouts and headlines
• Graphic elements
• Pictures

And some applications like:

• Stationery (cards, sheets, envelopes, folders)
• Website
• Banners
• Mail signature
• Merchandising
• Etc

Tell me in wich are you interested and I'll prepare the budget

Identity

• Color spectrum/palette
• Fonts
• Graphic elements

Applications

• Print/stationary etc:
  • Posters
  • Flyers ( do we actually need them?)
  • Website ( we will have one for sure, we have to agree on who does what // @albaplaza + @vectorsize )
  • Banners ( to be discussed )

Could you explain/specify these better please @albaplaza ?

• Text layouts and headlines ? ( how would that be different from fonts )
• Pictures ( what do you exactly mean by that )

To flyer or not to flyer happening here

Sure! let me explain...

• Text layouts/headlines/fonts Fonts are just the chosen typographies. Usually 2, for headlines and normal text Headlines are the design of how it will be: uppercase, lowercase, sizes, subheadlines placement... Text layouts are how the texts are gonna be display: text justification (right, left, center), use of cursives, underlines, bolds, ... With all this guidelines you can create the "text" identity of the brand
• With pictures I mean the treatment of them: color, black and white, just 1 color (like sepia pics)... or even the use of some graphic element over them, borders, forms, ...

Cool! In order to keep the costs as low as possible I am hesitant about the "Text layouts and headlines", could @albaplaza specify the costs for this in the budget? If so, then it would be great if you could prepare the following two budget proposals?
