Selecting Agents #56

First of all, this a great piece of software, lots of buzz on the privacy pages! Thank you so much.

I have an issue though and when I investigated it, it seems to be one of the biggest complaints I see people mention.

You can specify "Random (Desktop Only)" but there are a lot of agents that break pages - MSIE 6 (Win XP)

Some pages reject you, others render strangely. To fix it you turn off the plugin or restart it and hope for a working one. It would be great if you could specify with check boxes which agents you want in your random pool.

Another improvement I could suggest is pop up descriptions for the advanced options.

Thank you again!! I know it's not a lot but I'd be happy to pay a $25 bounty for this fix.

Hello @chaos5 this functionality has been implemented in version 0.9 . That version had an issue preventing it from obtaining a full review. The current version 0.9.2 has fixed the issue preventing a full review and it is currently in the queue on the addons site. When you expand the list you will see the check boxes beside each option and you can tick them to exclude them from random selection.

I expect the review to be completed some time this week. If you want 0.9.2 now you can obtain it at https://github.com/dillbyrne/random-agent-spoofer/releases/tag/0.9.2

As for the popups, tooltips do not seem to work within firefox panels. I do plan to add a help section to the addon which will explain all the options in detail.

@chaos5 Thank you. I really appreciate it.

I will eventually be adding support for creation of custom profiles but I have more options to add to the profile before I can implement that functionality such as #54 for example .

I'm closing this issue now and I will add one for the help option.
