The appliaction use case is slightly different than you describe it.
There is a global property - to sleep or not to sleep; and there are several
options to change the behavior - system preferences, a helper application (Zz
in menu bar) and a command line utility. So, it would be wrong in this use case
to disable the functionality on helper app exit.

Oh, ok. I understand. The helper app is just that, the helper. But could there
be an option that when the helper app is quit, it would set the global property
to not sleep?
Thanks for the answer!
