Opening preference pane crashes with 1.3.1 on OS X 10.6.8 #50

I was using 1.3.0 on with no problems. I upgraded to 1.3.1 and when I try and 
open the preference pane it tells me that the application has crashed. After 
restarting the same error continued to occur. To make sure this was because of 
1.3.1 I uninstalled using the included uninstaller and re-installed 1.3.0 which 
seems to work fine. Unfortunately I did not screencap the error.
