What steps will reproduce the problem?
Use with Chrome 38.0.2121.3 dev (64-bit)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
L38:        chrome.declarativeWebRequest.onRequest.addRules([
Unchecked runtime.lastError while running events.addRules: Duplicate rule ID: 
_4_

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 38.0.2121.3 dev (64-bit)
OSX 10.9.4

I am using Chrome 38.0.2121.3 (x64) and I cannot reproduce it. The extension 
works fine. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it and tell me if the problem 
remains.
