USB Keyboard Support #5

Yesterday I was trying to set up an email account that should work in 
WiiConnect, because it uses POP and SMTP, but not SSL. But because there 
is no "+" on the virtual keyboard, I couldn't enter the username because 
it used "+" in it. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to implement 
USB keyboard support into this, and that would definately solve the 
problem. This would also help with passwords, because some people might 
have characters in their passwords that aren't included in the virtual 
keyboard.
