Construct a market concentration (at sector level – number of bidders and winners per sector) Note: sector level means by product sector

Look at the common market concentration construction - Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI)

Notes:

Calculate the mkt share of each firm and then rank them. From here, we can calculate the total mkt share of the top X firms, the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI), or the entropia indicator. We should calculate these indicators by sector-year, and the statistics/graphs/analysis should be done with data at sector-year level.
