Updates to the Template #17

I did implemented some updates that add some functions, add some customized layouts and streamline the worklfow

@rdoino-wb, before merging could we remove the DS Store files? Adding them to the gitignone. Also, I see that many logos are deleted, are these not needed? I only see a warning coming from here as the file does not exist in that direction. Sorry for the delay.
