the Version PanoJS3 from 2011-01-14 found here: http://www.dimin.net/software/panojs/panojs3.zip
does support zoom steps of 200% and 400% I've compared the version from dimin.net with the latest version from here and found only those 3 files are different: control_thumbnail.js, PanoJS.js, utils.js
With the latest version checked out from github the screen turns gray and the picture vanishes when you zoom above 100%
