While I appreciate the input, I don't think I'll be changing the LDO. I will however label it clearly that the TLV761 is the primary choice of LDO and that it's just compatible with the 1117 series. The main reason why I went with the TLV761 is the larger package allowing for the LDO to match the rated current output of the original Pico and a better PSSR allowing for less overall noise being coupled into the system. Which matters in a lot of analog applications me and my friends originally intended to use this board in.
Regarding the text size, I was aware that it's technically too small for some cheaper boardhouses, but from my experience you can still submit it and in most cases it will come out just fine. I will get back to this later, thank you for the tip.
I understand. If you find the LDO to be up to spec for your application, then there is no need of change. On another note, a quick look at the datasheets of TLV and AP2112 showed the ap2112 having similar-ish PSRR curves. The only compromise is the lower current rating of 600-ish mA.
