Get Wii U IP when using pygecko

Loadiine's implementation of Gecko is compatible with three PC applications:

• TCPGecko.NET by @Chadderz121 (old, requires .NET Framework, so Windows only)
• pyGecko by @NWPlayer123 (relatively recent, but requires python/command line knowledge)
• JGecko U by @BullyWiiPlaza (most recent, requires Java)

Last I checked, JGecko U was capable of searching your network for an open Wii U Gecko port without you needing to insert an IP Address manually.

What you are saying does make sense in the case of pyGecko, though, as pyGecko is the most supported of the three Gecko clients. Though, this problem can be easily averted by configuring your console with a static IP address in System Settings.
