i believe i might have found a solution to this issue. i'm no web developer to any degree (this was a more of a 'guess and check' method), but seems to work...

so in your \wp-content\uploads\wp-less\dimsemenov-Touchfolio\style-touchfolio-default.css. you can set the image size you want by changing .albums-thumbnails img (line 955). i added 'height:304px;' right after 'width:304px;' on line 961 to make my images square on the masonry gallery page.

this might stretch/compress your image if it isn't close to a square shape. so if you want to crop, resize or change the image go to \wp-content\uploads then wherever your images are stored. (after you upload a photo to touchfolio, it creates resized images for different purposes- so you will be changing the 304px thumbnail) find the ImageName that is displayed on the gallery page and locate the ImageName-304x196(this number might be different).jpg. you can manipulate this image in photoshop(any photo editor) and change the height pixels to 304 so that the new image is squarish. the main thing you have to do is save and overwrite the old image and keep the same name in the same location.

once you do that and refresh your page, it should load the image you cropped, resized or changed to. sorry for the convoluted answer, but once you get the hang of changing the images/image sizes it looks quite nice. hope this helps, and here are some examples i found with changed masonry gallery pages....
