Importing Insecta from Dyntaxa, some ranks are not present in the PlutoF taxonomy db...

What is the procedure to add ranks? Can ranks be added through an API call? Or is a workaround possible (such as in worst case running sql directly against the db)? An way to automate adding the ranks used in the data would allow us to automate the loading of Dyntaxa.
