In single album view photos are not shown next to each other

I've inculded the PWI to display all photos of one album. So far so good, but 
the single photos are not shown next to each other - but one photo per line. 

What version of the product are you using? On what browser and version and
operating system?
OSX Mountain Lion, Web page built in Dreamweaver MX, Preview using Firefox 
18.0.1 or Safari 6.0.2

How can this be changed to have the photos displayed next to each other or in a 
given number of photos per line?
