VS2010 doesn't show images in the website being imported from vs2008

a question was raised in support of the same problem on several social networking portals. Question:- Please help me out of this problem

hi to every friend of mine. i have a very tricky question and is unable to find the answer. i used google for a long for the answer but was answer less. can any one answer my question. i am using Dotnet 2010 (RTMrel Full Version) and have created a website as sample using some of the pictures and text in it. when i see my website inside a VWD designer it works fine but on debugging or running the website it gives me only text. the images i used are not shown on the web page. also the website i created inside dotnet 2008 (Full version) on importing gives the same error.

please can any one answer my simple question.

there could be two or more issues with this

  1. images/ could be read only
  2. <img wwill need a server tag runat server

still not able to get the answer for the same, using window 7 on HP laptop 2000 series 2010 model with 2 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, VS 2010 with upgraded SQL server 2005 to SQL server 2008 R2. thinking this could be an error due to linking of X86 libraries on X64 windows version.
