Disable alarm time out #52

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Currently the alarm time out must be configured.
I tend to snooze A LOT so I pass even the 60 minutes that is the maximum that
can be set.
An option to disable this feature completely would be great.

I'm not quite sure I understand the problem you're describing. Are you talking
about the 'Alarm time out' feature under 'Application Settings' ? This feature
is supposed to control how long an alarm will go off before turning itself off.
For instance, if you forgot your phone at your desk and the alarm started
going off. It would disable itself (by default) after 10 minutes to avoid
killing your battery.

It sounds like what you are describing is the inability to snooze for more than
60 minutes. This should be possible with the current application features, and
is unrelated to the 'Alarm time out' feature. At least, that's supposed to be
how it works, I've never actually tried snoozing for more than 60 minutes,
though.

There is a bug in the currently released version of the app which causes it to
crash on phones without a lot of memory when the alarm goes off. This may be
the bug that you are hitting. You can try installing the test version of the
app here
http://kraigsandroid.googlecode.com/files/Alarm%20Klock.apk
to see if it fixes the problem for you.

I just notice that after snoozing a few times it stops and the alarm doesn't go
off anymore, at all.
I assumed it was this feature, but I guess it's probably the crash.

Thanks
