Serializer broken #203

The serializer seems severely broken. In particular the testbench doesn't correspond to the behaviour in firmware.

It seems as though the problem was due to uninitialized signals that depended on the clocks. They should be reinitialized and the serializer re-tuned.

Problems are still seen in serializer..
