I download and run the project, while I review the source code that I found you provide an interface "SendPluginSpecificData" to control effect plugins. But this function is not done. Does it update?
I read the OpenRGB SDK document wiki but I don't see it written to have this feature. I was told in the official wiki that it seems that this SDK is not officially supported yet. And I don't know it whether support or not in OpenRGB. Perhaps it support and wiki not update. Cause I found many different use from your project but wiki not write and it really exist. So it surprises me.
