What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Attempting any attack on host

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of Metasploit are you using (type: svn info)? On which
operating system?
'svn info' responds: "svn: '.' is not a working copy"

Which database are you using?

Please provide any additional information below.
svn update get skipped as well.

There were several changes to the Metasploit Framework last week that caused 
this. Run msfupdate again and you should be OK.

Grrrr... this is happening to me still. It wasn't. I'll work with the MSF team 
on it.

And... this issue is resolved now. There was a syntax error in one of the 
Metasploit Framework modules which caused a background payload cache 
recalculation thread to run every time you launch a module.

msfupdate is great, but if you update to the source code developers are working 
off of every day, you will encounter bugs here and there.
