armitage nmap broken pipe #131

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

I started using Armitage and now I can't scan (IPs and Ports), it appears that
the pipes are broken in the nmap...

But if I try to use zenmap or nmap outside Armitage it works fine.

Could someone help me out? Maybe update Armitage or solve this problem.

Thank you very much!

broken pipe means metasploit could not start nmap. Metasploit has its own
environment. Running zenmap or nmap outside means nothing. Your barking up the
wrong tree asking me to look at this. But, here's your troubleshooting steps:

cd /opt/metasploit/msf3
source ../scripts/setenv.sh

now, test out nmap and see what happens. Your path may be different. Please
adjust accordingly.
