1. If I had a million dollars to pay you (that's what it'd cost if you
weren't so nice), I'd like you to add...

Ability to Rename Hosts (See attached screenshot for better explanation)

2. Because this feature doesn't exist I have to...
Use Excel or Notepad to manually map IPs to Hostnames or Custom Name

3. If you add this feature I will...
Jump for joy and shout to the whole world via Twitter and Facebook why Armitage
is numero uno

Very nice mockup. I have to think about how I'd make this work. Could make it
work on a per-client basis. If you rename something, it'll always display that
name until you remove or clear that name. The setting could be stored locally
in your Armitage properties file. A teammate wouldn't be able to see the names
you've set for each host. The notation would be local to your client only. Does
that make sense?

Makes perfect sense to me :-) The business case of this feature for me is that
the host renaming helps me as a pen tester to visually map out an unknown
network while I dive deeper with more intrusive scans to gather more details
about the hosts. Helps in gray box or black box pen test engagements wherein
the client will only give you a handful of information about the hosts you
discover, and its up to you to fingerprint and identify it correctly.

I believe Armitage's host labels feature fits the bill here.

It only took over a year, but better late than never. :)
