Expanding the box made it unstable (flickers, and squishes text to the left)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type in a field that expands
2. Expand the field using the bottom-right corner
3. If you scroll, the box will start flickering, and will push content in the 
field to the left.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected that expanding the box would not push text to the left, nor flicker 
and make scrolling unstable.

What operating system are you using?
Yosemite 10.10.3

Please provide any additional information below.
Chrome browser Version 42.0.2311.135 (64-bit)

This has been fixed with the introduction of the new rich-text editor, and will 
come out in the next release. The bottom-right corner of the input field is no 
longer draggable, and the input field auto-expands vertically.
