Hi,

you may not have noticed, but the iupb app doesn't show the next menues for the Mensa. http://www.studentenwerk-pb.de/gastronomie/speiseplaene/mensa.html?no_cache=1 There are rumors, that the Studentenwerk will launch a new website. Maybe you can talk with the Studentenwerk, so that the menue infos are showing.again.

Hi, yes, the STWPB are designing a new website. No info, however, is available about mobile readiness. The current new solution uses images - unable to display correctly for mobiles, retina screens and disabled people. And also not automatically parseable by us. We are developing a solution for this, until then we will update the menus manually. Btw: by disabling access to the data they shut down their own two apps (appetite / study life) as well. The studentenwerk explicitly does not want us or others to the read their data (although they are paid/sponsored by us, the students). we had a talk with their CEO…

update: data for this week for the Mensa is now online.

Thanks for the fast reply. It seems STWPB has changed back to the "old style", but there is only the actual day. http://www.studentenwerk-pb.de/gastronomie/speiseplaene/mensa.html

Yap... I believe they realized they had to conform to the German accessibility rules.

update: we have some agreement with the STWPB to get the new data once they launch their new website, until then we try to get as much data as we can from the resources that are put online. Thanks, again, for dropping us a line!

fyi: we now use parts of new API as our primary source for the menus (#68). we will expand the infos shown and maybe clean up the menus UI a little bit during the next days / weeks.
