Reported by Fredrik by mail. The entire mail conversation (newest on top):

Fredrik,

didn't you notice this issue in previous versions cause the way we handle dates
hasn't changed!

Ivo,

I think I know something how to do it (at least some framework that supports
the most common date formats). I'll give it a try this weekend (probably
sunday) or if I find myself some time tomorrow evening I'll do tomorrow ;)
I'll create an issue for this on the project page.

Kind regards,

Ahhh... You know I saw that setting, and as yyyy-mm-dd is swedish default, I
always select it even if I don't change language.

Thanks for coding it to yyyy-mm-dd, as I understand it will be impossible to
code for all possibilities.

Maybe just a note in the info, to let users know what formats are supported,
and where they change it (@myepisodes.com)?

Cheers //Fred

Ps. PSW changed :) Ds.

Hi Frederik and Dirk,

Thanks for your account. Found the bug and it's (sort of) solved.
The problem is that in your MyEpisodes profile, your "Date Format" setting is
other than us / default.
These settings will be used in the output xml, stupid :(.

Now it works for yyyy-mm-dd (settings of Frederik) and dd-mm-yyyy (our
settings).
but If a user uses mm-yyyy-dd, some other punctuation mark or something weird
it still goes wrong.
I can't include (hardcoded) all options, there are to many of them ;).

Dirk, Ideas to do this better?

Thanks for your help and change your password ;),
Ivo

If you want to mess around a bit you are welcome to check the account:

Login: <857>
Psw :<test>

Let me know if there's anything I can do...

Hi Fredrik,

Very weird, I don't have this problem in all tabs.

Can you check if the myepisodes xml has the correct dates?
For instance the coming tab:
http://www.myepisodes.com/rss.php?feed=mylist&onlyunacquired=1&sort=asc&uid=<you
rusername>&pwdmd5=<yourmd5pass>

replace <yourusername> with username and <yourmd5pass> with the md5 what can be
found in the myepisodes settings: "Your MD5 hashed password:"
And paste it in a browser like Internet Explorer of Firefox.

Don't think that reinstall or clear cache would help, a refresh should be
enough.

If the problem still excist maybe we can steal your account for a second? ;)

Should be fixed using the framework POJava version 2.3.1: http://pojava.org/
