The screens for episode details and the show management should be changed.
Both should have a gradient background with application colors. On the episode
details screen the buttons should be more like on the show management view, in
a dashboard style. For the episode detail view the buttons should stay
underneath the episode details for both landscape and portrait mode!!

The entire application layout should be changed. According to Google's new UI
tips that are already implemented by numerous applications (Twitter,
Devoxx2010, BeTrains,...). Have a look at the Devoxx2010 scheduler which is
open sourced on google code: http://code.google.com/p/devoxx2010/
What we need:
1) A top bar with some quick actions (go home, logo of the application, manage
shows-link/reload button in the episode lists,...)
2) A home screen with 6 logo's. This could replace the menu (or at least most
of it)
3) A similar screen to the home screen for the show management
4) A light gradient background on the home(-a-like) screen

Besides the devoxx 2010 application as example we can also have a look at the
Google I/O scheduler on which the devoxx 2010 app is based ^^

That layout looks great, and refresh etc would be perfect in a top bar.
Maybe one problem: These project are for Android 2.0 and higher.
Do you still want to support 1.6? (10% -

Those projects are indeed for Android 2.x but the layout can also be applied on
1.6. Nothing big changed to the layout possibilities and it's just a view you
have to create so no big deal in implementing it (I'm not saying it's easy but
it's possible!)
