Crash immediately after start

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. starting the application

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I can see the main window popping up and instantly closing. I get the
report I pasted below.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using latest Beta10 on a MacBook Pro 5,5 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo with OS X 10.6.2

Please provide any additional information below.

VirtualC64 seems to read a NULL pointer from the preference settings.

Workaround: Delete files ~/Library/Preferences/dirkwhoffmann.VirtualC64*.plist
