This is a topic for discussion, hopefully something good will come out of it.
Sometimes the manager forgets or is unable to come online between rally days to give repair orders. In the first case it is fair to have some punishment while in the latter case it is not.
It would be great to have something like repair orders in advance, to allow such a team to escape retirement.
I understand that this opens a risk that players will visit the website less, but I think this is where group brainstorming could lead to some balanced solution.
One option from me: allow to give orders in advance only for tire replacements. This way, the car should be able to withstand 2 rally days, but not 3 (I think brakes should run out somewhere in the middle of day 3). So in order to finish in the rally, the manager would still must come online at least once in between the rally days. And also the car state would still be pretty bad, affecting the results negatively. This would be more fair than "Supper Rally" is now with enormous repair allowances.
Important aspect is that these orders should only be executed when the time for real manager actions runs out (i.e. only if the manager really did not come online that day). So the manager would have a backup plan, but would be encouraged to come online and make real repair decisions.
