@gavinballard I'm interested in putting in some work to modernize the package you've started here, however I see that the maintained fork HERE also uses the original blank license file you started with.

Would you mind adding an MIT license to this repo? I plan to ask the maintainers of the other fork to do the same, but I imagine they'd need this one to have the update first.

Hello, I see the setup.py file says this project is MIT. Given a lack of other info, I'm going to assume this code is in fact MIT. Please do not hesitate to contact me if this is incorrect and I'd be happy to ensure I'm complying with your license.
