Chrome....windows 7. I also use Adblock. Adblock uses 180mb of ram as well.

There is a website I use that i remember freaks out when it can't connect to one of the services, and your counter just flies into the hundreds within a second. I think it might have been spotify."

Confirmed that user is running most current version

Do you know which site freaks out? (We can take care of that problem more easily.)

User can't remember exactly, thinks it was https://play.spotify.com/discover but I can't reproduce (also using Chrome on Windows 7).

Me neither. There are lots of Facebook requests if you unblock Facebook, but the freakouts will stop when I port 3c9590cd6bd155532fc57c2a805ff7671c32f195 to Chrome.
