Todos:

[ ] enable verbose build mode (default)
[ ] set DISCOPOP_VERBOSE to false by default
[ ] add DISCOPOP_VERBOSE environment variable to toggle verbose output in case of a verbose build

Reason for the additional build mode: Decreased profiling overhead due to less condition checks
