From apple 🦃 avatar: I appreciate the rules, however, just as America has rules, those rules are not necessarily the correct rules to ensure a good society. I see intentionally vague rules, unwritten rules, even non-rules that are not conducive to inclusive discussion. The moderation logs here, as justified as they may be, sure seem to be aggressive, personal, and not indicative of a welcoming and inclusive community (Warnings and bans appear to feature ableist slurs quite frequently), I hope that some day this gets reevaluated and improved, it overall just seems to come off as elitist and gives the friendlier side of the Linux community, the side the supports all it's community, a bad name. Best of luck to you all.

I'm not able to find a single example of that, so I'm not sure what you mean by frequently

even non-rules that are not conducive to inclusive discussion

From Faith | Am Girl! avatar: I just did a quick check of the mod-logs channel and can't find anything of the sort regarding slurs. Alongside that, we have maintained our stance on how the server is run for a while, I do agree the rules could be adjusted, but this will likely not happen. All in all, this feedback feels kinda pointless, though I'll refrain from closing it until other users (or a staff member) wants it closed.
