From Hekkaryk avatar : Currently, Unsupported distros section might be interpreted as a closure statement and as such does not discourage people from helping at all. Instantly warning and muting newcomers after generic It has x is also extremely unfriendly. They will know that now - after being punished for something they didn't know was offense...

From Syretia avatar : It already does say that we will not provide support for those distros. I don't know how it could be any more clear than it is.
